Starting with accurate requirement gathering that leverages our expertise and understanding of our Client’s business and scientific priorities, Japan Bioinformatics KK offers full scale software development services.
Our engagement begins with an analysis and planning stage that includes accurate requirements gathering, interface and functional design and project planning. At the end of project analysis we submit a formal Project Plan which includes Requirements and Acceptance Testing documents to be reviewed and approved by the Client. Project Plan also includes estimates and time lines as well as an optional fixed price proposal. If portions of the project could be effectively done off-shore, discussion of risks and benefits of the off-shore development will be presented.
Following formal acceptance of the Plan, Japan Bioinformatics KK will begin the core development stage. This includes detailed technical design, development, testing and quality assurance. Multiple documents are produced at this stage of the Project and all will be turned over to the Client following formal project acceptance.
During the following Installation stage, the software is deployed on the Client’s site and prepared for Acceptance Testing. This test will be done in accordance to the Acceptance Testing document produced in the Analysis stage.
When the software passes Acceptance Test, it is formally accepted. Finally, Japan Bioinformatics will offer User and Administrator Training to Client’s personnel to enable the Client to effectively use and manage the software without further reliance on Japan Bioinformatics KK. Optionally, the Client may request on-going support for the product or further enhancements.
